Part 28: The upheaval

These twice first weeks were limited and ran involuntarily towards the great upheaval. The upheaval brought an end to being in a cave and had been the topic for months, the move. The plan was for both Gianni and I to move, to two apartments next to each other, connected with a breakthrough so that Milla can walk back and forth and we have a shared kitchen, a family room. I wanted to get started. My apartment was free and renovated. That’s the plan. But plans change. Especially the more people involved in these plans. In my case, there were too many people. So now I had to move out and I didn’t have a place to move into yet. The redevelopment was not yet completed. So furniture, boxes, plants, piano now all in one room, stacked almost to the ceiling. Door closed and sealed with tape. With one suitcase at Gianni’s, three backpacks, five shoulder bags and what felt like 740 individual items. But only one week and then, yes then the tour time starts. So Milla and I slept in his bed, he slept on the sofa and I found that strange at first and then I got used to it and found it almost restful not to think about my own vacuum cleaner all the time. Dinner sometimes together and the baby crying from 20h moved from one arm to the other and back. And finally, the contents of one suitcase, three backpacks, five shoulder bags and what felt like 740 individual items decimated to one suitcase and one backpack. That’s all the airline took. Italy. First tour in March. Florence, Rome, Milan. For three weeks.
